I thought the Simpsons were ugly when I first saw them. Oh what a wrong conception and what fun I've missed out in all the previous 18 seasons of the Simpsons...crush my heart.
Thanks to husband, I sat down to watch an episode of The Simpsons carton. And after that, I'm hooked. I love the political incorrectness of Homer and Bart, the integrity of Lisa and the perfect supportive wife in Marge. And of cos all the other dysfunctional residents of Springfield.
The Simpsons movie continued with all the essence of the Simpsons movie. Homer has gone madder than ever and adopts a pig, calliing it "spider pig". Bart is weirder as ever, and Lisa gets environmentally correct. There's even spoofs on Arnold Swachengger and Tom Hanks and the entire American presidential system. I was in stitches throughout the movie, laughing hilariously at both the silliness (and secretly at the ingenuity) of the jokes.
If u're down on a day and needed a hysterical laugh, this movie will give it to u!
